Leon Edwards seems to be eyeing his return to the UFC cage and many online are offering their thoughts on the potential bounce-back fight. This will be a key outing for Edwards, who aims to get back into the win column after losing the welterweight strap and it seems he has his focus on UFC London.

He has his eyes on that card literally and figuratively as 'Rocky' used his personal X page to retweet a link for UFC London on Mar. 22 with the eyeballs emoji.

Several X users commented on this retweet with multiple opponent suggestions being put out there by a fervent fanbase that amassed an ample tweet thread thereafter.

What is next for Leon Edwards?

Leon Edwards returning to UFC London would make sense, considering he would have the home-crowd advantage in the UK. It seems like some are keen to see him return to the cage even sooner, though. Michael Bisping recently stated his interest in Edwards being involved with UFC 310.

The man who claimed Rocky's welterweight belt, Belal Muhammad, had to pull out of the December card with many wondering what is to become of Shavkat Rakhmonov, who now no longer has an opponent for that pay-per-view.

Bisping suggested that Edwards taking on the unbeaten phenom Rakhmonov could shoot Edwards right back into title contention conversations and be a big way to bounce back from losing his seat on the welterweight throne.

The backdrop of Jorge Masvidal also targeting a return is an intriguing option for the 33-year-old former titleholder. Edwards and Masvidal have a history dating many years now after a backstage scrap between the two, creating the latter's catchphrase relating to giving someone a three-piece with the soda.

This would certainly be one of the more blockbuster-friendly options for 'Rocky' as Masvidal remains a massive draw despite riding a multi-fight losing streak across MMA and boxing competition. Whoever it is he steps into the cage with, the MMA world will be attentively watching whatever Leon Edwards' next fight is.
