John Lineker is ready to transition into Muay Thai. The former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion revealed he's in the final stretch of his training camp before he flies to Denver, Colorado for his Muay Thai debut.
Lineker will face American star Asa Ten Pow in his first fight under a new ruleset at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6 at the Ball Arena.
In an Instagram post, Lineker said that training camp is almost finished and he's ready to go all out in the final days before fight week commences.

"We are in the final stretch of preparation, let's go all in."
A devastating boxer, it would be intriguing to see how Lineker can transition that punching power to the world of Muay Thai. Nevertheless, the Brazilian knockout monster looks as lean as ever heading into his fight against Ten Pow.
Lineker has a stellar 37-10 (1 no-contest) professional record, with 18 of his victories coming via concussive knockout. 'Hands of Stone' has six wins under ONE Championship, and with four of those KOs coming at the expense of Kim Jae Woong, Troy Worthen, Kevin Belingon and Bibiano Fernandes.
Although he'll be in unchartered territory against Ten Pow, Lineker's power is certainly considerable, and may be enough to carry him past the American star.
Tickets for ONE 168 are available at Ticketmaster.
Former foe Stephen Loman believes John Lineker won't have any problems transitioning to Muay Thai
Some may have been stunned when John Lineker accepted a Muay Thai fight, but his former opponent Stephen Loman doesn't expect the former bantamweight MMA king to run into any problems against Asa Ten Pow.
Loman said in an interview with Sportskeeda MMA that Lineker won't have any issues at 'The Art of Eight Limbs.'
"Not really, because he has all the tools to do it. He's a natural striker. Since he's coming over to Muay Thai, I feel that he's training his kicks heavily."
