Jonathan Haggerty experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows in 2024.
'The General' successfully defended his bantamweight Muay Thai world title at ONE Fight Night 19 last February, in an incredible come-from-behind knockout win over challenger Felipe Lobo.
Unfortunately for the fighting Brit, he would then lose the same world title in devastating fashion to Superlek Kiatmoo9 at ONE 168: Denver.
Still, the future remains incredibly bright for Jonathan Haggerty who is still considered one of the best pure strikers on the planet.

Opening up in an appearance on Winners Talking Podcast, the 27-year-old revealed he plans to capitalize on his success with career opportunities outside of fighting.
"I want to open up a few gyms. A few franchise gyms - Haggerty Academies, might as well plug that in while I can. Small ones to start off with because a lot of people told me it’s hard work. I don’t want to jump to the deep end, so that."
Meanwhile, in terms of his career progression, Haggerty said he plans to keep his remaining 26 pounds of gold and perhaps even venture into another sport.
The reigning bantamweight kickboxing world champion added:
"That’s mainly it, really, defend the kickboxing belt, maybe move into MMA pretty soon. Let’s push for that."
