Eric Nicksick believes Dana White should allow Jon Jones to prove he's better than Francis Ngannou.

On Nov. 16, Jones extended his legacy with his first UFC heavyweight title defense against Stipe Miocic. 'Bones' continues to separate himself as the greatest fighter of all time, but one fight hasn't stopped piquing fans' interest.

Over the last two years, debates have been made about what would happen in a fight between Jones and former UFC heavyweight champion Ngannou. The latter has since parted ways with the promotion and had a public feud with Dana White, making the matchup nearly impossible.

Ngannou's coach, Eric Nicksick, recently released a podcast episode and discussed the hypothetical Jones vs. Ngannou matchup.

Here's what Nicksick said about Turki Alalshikh potentially putting up the money to make the fight happen:

"I think that's the only way really, money talks. I think you put your ego aside if the money moves your motivation enough. At the end of the day, Dana, you think Jon [Jones] is the baddest motherf*cker ever then put him up against Francis. You hate Francis so much, watch him get his a*s kicked. Why not?" [55:29-56:52]

Francis Ngannou's fighting journey since parting ways with UFC

Francis Ngannou's final fight in the UFC was a heavyweight title defense against Ciryl Gane in January 2022. Following the impressive performance, Ngannou started negotiating with Dana White and the promotion, which led to a public feud between the two parties.

Ngannou decided to sign a lucrative contract with the Professional Fighters League (PFL). Before returning to MMA, 'The Predator' fought and lost two high-paying boxing matches against Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

Ngannou made history by knocking down Fury and barely losing by split decision. The former UFC heavyweight champion's second boxing match didn't go as planned, with Joshua viciously knocking him out in round two.

On Oct. 19, Ngannou made his highly-anticipated return to MMA. The 38-year-old dominated 2023 PFL heavyweight champion Renan Ferreira to a first-round TKO, pushing his professional record to 18-3.

Ngannou hasn't officially announced what's next for his legendary fighting career.
