Nico Carrillo is still entirely focused on getting his hand raised at all costs despite some big changes to his next outing.
The Scottish striker and No.2-ranked bantamweight Muay Thai contender has marked himself as the next man to the throne off some fine displays on the global stage.
His run of devastating wins and finishes lined up for him a huge fight against the world champion at ONE 170 on Jan. 24.
Unfortunately, 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9 pulled out of the fight with an injury but there will still be gold on the line for 'King of the North' at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Carrillo will instead face No.5-ranked Nabil Anane for the ONE interim bantamweight world championship in a clash between two of the division's most exciting additions in recent years.
British striking veteran Liam Harrison is a former bantamweight title challenger and he's an expert analyst with a lifetime of knowledge and experience under his belt.
Harrison believes that despite Anane's impressive winning streak, he'll be biting off more than he can chew in this one.
Harrison gave his prediction in a recent interview with ONE Championship:
"I see no way that Nabil wins this fight. He's not been in the 145-pound division long enough to handle Nico's power."

Nico Carrillo may be a good technician with an undeniable will to win, but by far his most impressive attribute is his athleticism and power.
'King of the North' is such a menacing force in the ring and that will be an issue for Nabil Anane.
The young contender is technically brilliant and has a difficult frame for many to deal with but he doesn't have close to the same kind of power and explosiveness.
We've seen multiple times that Nico Carrillo only needs to land one big shot to completely change the fight. That could once more be the case if he strikes first lands on the money come Jan. 24.
