World-class English striker Liam Harrison may be recovering from injury, but that hasn't stopped him from showing off his big-time punching power.

'Hitman' suffered a torn ACL in his bantamweight Muay Thai world title bout against Nong-O Hama last August. The loss ended Harrison's winning streak where he beat Mohammed Bin Mahmoud, Brayan Matias, and Muangthai P.K.Saenchai.

Liam Harrison not interested in fighting bigger opponents says Openweight Muay Thai Grand Prix isn't in his best interest

The 37-year-old is still fixated on attaining a world title under ONE Championship—and he's not interested in facing bigger opponents or fighting the Openweight Muay Thai Grand Prix either. While speaking to The MMA Superfan, he said:

"Probably not. I have no interest whatsoever. I know what look I am. This is the type of look I have, don’t forget I only fight at 65 kilos, 145 pounds, and I make that easily. I don’t struggle and I could probably go lower if I wanted to."

Harrison added:

“I’d end up getting killed. I know that some of the guys out there are all for this and that, but just coming back from injury, I’m a little bit older as well. I wanna preserve my body for as long as I can and now I gotta fight some giants like that. I don’t see how I can beat Regian Eersel or Sinsamut or some of the guys. They are literally twice my size and them guys hit like absolute trucks.”

The eight-time Muay Thai champ had scheduled an exhibition boxing match against Floyd Mayweather Jr., but he later withdrew after his surgeon advised him to focus on recovering from injury. 'Hitman' has built his reputation as a hard-hitting and aggressive striker from the time he was a teenager, training at the Bad Company gym in Leeds, England.
