It may not have been the night Liam Harrison had hoped for on ONE Championship's historic ONE 168: Denver card inside the Ball Arena this past September. But the response he received that evening reminded him why he's found solace doing the one thing he loves the most over the past two decades.
'Hitman' put an end to his two-year spell on the sidelines — due to a horrific knee injury he picked up against Nong-O Hama — in a 140-pound catchweight Muay Thai showdown alongside Seksan Or Kwanmuang on the organization's second on-ground event in North America.
All eyes were locked on how he'd fare against one of the most feared names in the striking discipline, who enjoyed a career resurgence in the world's largest martial arts organization over the past couple of years.

Unfortunately, Harrison's comeback was cut short as Seksan's usual high-octane approach overwhelmed the Englishman just over the midway point of the second round in Denver, Colorado.
Still, it was a rather special occasion for Liam Harrison, who even had pro wrestling legend Bill Goldberg in his corner for one of the biggest fights of his career.
Reflecting on his experience at ONE 168: Denver, the 39-year-old told ONE Championship:
"I loved it. I loved making that walk. I got such a buzz from the amazing response from the American fans. I loved fighting there."
Liam Harrison pulls a u-turn on retirement, targets return to ONE in 2025
Despite laying his gloves on the canvas to signal his retirement in the aftermath of his loss in 'The Mile High City,' Liam Harrison appears to be on the cusp of another swansong appearance on the global stage next year.
A month back, the Bad Company athlete took to X and said that ONE Championship made him an offer "he couldn't really refuse."
Slightly over a week later, Harrison confirmed on his Instagram page that he will return to the Circle for one more fight. Part of his caption read:
"2025 we go hard for one more year @hitman_fightleague@onechampionship … honest 🤣."
