Liam Harrison demonstrated how to set up a vicious elbow strike.
Harrison is recovering from a severe knee injury from his last fight against Nong-O Hama. Although he isn’t ready to fight again, the former 3x Muay Thai world champion can still educate people with his training videos.
ONE Championship recently shared an Instagram post showing ’Hitman' breaking down an elbow attack setup, with the caption saying:
“'Hitman' lines it up 💪 Do YOU have a signature setup? 🤔 @liambadco”

Harrison made his ONE debut in December 2018, losing to former featherweight Muay Thai world champion Petchmorakot Petchyindee. ‘Hitman’ returned in June 2019, losing his second consecutive fight against ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai tournament world champion Rodlek PK Saenchai.
Although Harrison lost to elite opposition, he decided to make a change. The Leeds native left the featherweight division and moved down to bantamweight. ‘Hitman’ emerged as the number one contender after defeating Mohammed Bin Mahmoud and Muangthai PK Saenchai. Unfortunately for him, Nong-O continued his historic undefeated run by winning in the first round.

Liam Harrison discovered his knee injury was worse than expected
Liam Harrison suffered the wrath of Nong-O Hama’s deadly leg kicks, which ended their world championship fight early. After attempting to continue training, ‘Hitman’ found out he needed surgery, leading to a missed opportunity to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. in an exhibition boxing match.
During an interview with The MMA Superfan, Harrison had this to say about his injury:
“Obviously I've been having some knee problems since the Nong-O fight and, yeah, it just turned out to be a lot worse than originally thought. And I tore a lot of the main ligaments in my knee, and the only way I was gonna repair them was with surgery.”
Harrison doesn’t plan on retiring because of knee surgery. The 37-year-old will look to bounce back and secure another shot at the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship. It’s unclear when ‘Hitman’ plans to fight again, but there are several intriguing opponents for his return, including Jonathan Haggerty, Alaverdi Ramazanov, Saemapetch Fairtex, and more.
