Liam Harrison revealed he plans to resume seminars and fight again in September.

Harrison last fought in August 2022, losing to Nong-O Hama for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai World Championship. Nong-O secured a first-round finish after crippling ‘Hitman’ with leg kicks. The damage to the Leeds native was worse than expected, leading to surgery that started a long recovery process.

The 3x Muay Thai world champion recently shared an update on Instagram with the caption saying:

“Seminars resume back the 1st July, I’m fully booked from then until the start of September all round UK and Europe. Gonna slow down with bookings for now as I’ll be looking to fight again around September but keep your eye on my page for announcements, if no seminars are coming to your area hit up liamharrisontraining.com link in bio”

Harrison lost his first two fights in ONE Championship against Petchmorakot Petchyindee and Rodlek PK Saenchai. ‘Hitman’ decided to leave the featherweight division and move down to bantamweight, winning his next two fights against Mohammed Bin Mahmoud and Muangthai PK Saenchai, which earned him the title shot against Nong-O.

Liam Harrison’s recovery specialist provides positive update about injury suffered against Nong-O

Liam Harrison is as tough as they come. With that said, there are concerns about how he will bounce back from a severe leg injury at 37 years old. Harrison’s recovery specialist, Aaron Caseley, provided an update on Instagram that said:

“I’ve been working with Liam for around 2 years now for ongoing injury management, recovery and for training modifications support.⁣The most recent challenge, ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair is no small feat. ⁣However, I’ve no doubt that with Liam’s beyond human, relentless pursuit of excellence and a phenomenal team around him… This manlwill once again dominate in the ONE Championship ring.”

Harrison revealed he plans to book a fight for September. The Leeds native will be plugged right back into the stacked ONE Championship bantamweight Muay Thai division, with several ranked fighters needing an opponent. Only time will tell what’s next for ‘Hitman.’
