'The Hitman' Liam Harrison is one of the most prominent Muay Thai strikers in UK history. He has competed in scores of bouts for major world titles against the best fighters in the world over multiple generations.
Harrison's career is not over yet. 'The Hitman' suffered a knee injury in his most recent bout against ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Nong-O Hama. If his knee didn't require recovery time, he would already be back in action.
Harrison recently spoke to The MMA Superfan and explained some of the plans he had:
"Obviously, I had some massive fights for you guys lined up. I spoke to [ONE Championship CEO] Chatri [Sityodtong], and he said I’m gonna fight Pongsiri [PK.Saenchai] in January. He said if I win that, I can fight Nong-O again for the rematch for the title in March and in May, then he asked me to do a catchweight fight with Rodtang [Jitmuangnon]. So they were some of the biggest fights imaginable for me out there."

"Glad Floyd’s found a new opponent. Got my knee surgery next week, so I’ll be 100 percent ready and waiting the next time he wants to come back and fight on these shores."
