'The Hitman' Liam Harrison has competed in over a hundred bouts over multiple decades in Muay Thai. The English fighter has faced the most prominent names for the most prestigious world titles. However, he's pragmatic when it comes to changing weight classes.
On potentially changing divisions, 'The Hitman' spoke in an interview with Volt Lozada on The MMA Superfan. Harrison said:
"Probably not. I have no interest whatsoever. I know what look I am. This is the type of look I have, don’t forget I only fight at 65 kilos, 145 pounds, and I make that easily. I don’t struggle and I could probably go lower if I wanted to."

Liam Harrison's knee is recovering
Last year, English striker Liam Harrison had the opportunity to capture the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship. Reigning king Nong-O, however, chopped him down with thunderous leg kicks and caused an injury to his knee.
Nong-O will next be in the ONE circle to defend his throne against Jonathan Haggerty on April 21 at ONE Fight Night 9 on Prime Video. All the action on the card will be broadcast live and for free on Prime Video for all Amazon subscribers across North America.
Due to Harrison's injury, 'The Hitman' has been unable to accept any matches and even had to drop out of an exhibition against Floyd Mayweather Jr. However, he still wants to return to the ONE circle.
Luckily for him, his recovery is ahead of schedule. On Instagram, he revealed:
"Chipping away at my rehab with my team. Everything way ahead of schedule as expected. Back soon."
On his podcast Kickin' It, Liam Harrison discussed attitudes in training and fighting. The English fighter hosts many seminars and coaches up-and-coming Muay Thai fighters.
'The Hitman' explained:
“All your thinking is done in the gym …the fight [you’re] just reacting… is this how you train and fight? I always say the worst thing a fighter can do in a fight is think …you need to just react.”
