Liam Harrison released a new vlog documenting a day in the life of a Muay Thai athlete this week.
The Leeds-born fighter completed filming last year while he was preparing for one of his matches at ONE Championship but didn’t release it until now. The 45-minute vlog covers everything from his diet to his training sessions to what he does in his downtime - Harrison has given fans an exclusive lens of what life looks like during a training camp.
‘Hitman’ promoted the new vlog with the following introduction on his official YouTube channel that said:
“Last year before one of my fights we put a documentary together on how I spend my days in fight camp. The documentary includes behind the scenes stuff in my personal life, how I train, how I relax and how I prepare for war. Featuring exclusive interviews from my head coach Richard Smith and my cousin, former world champion, Andy Howson.”

Liam Harrison is hoping to return to action with ONE Championship this year despite suffering a knee injury back in December. Unfortunately, this led to his withdrawal from ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video, which took place as scheduled on January 13.
The Englishman, however, is expected to make a full recovery after a successful surgery last Monday, which has left fans both relieved and excited for his return.
Liam Harrison tells fans on Twitter that he misses sparring
Muay Thai superstar Liam Harrison is taking his time getting back into the gym. Since his surgery, Harrison has refrained from doing any strenuous activities to speed up the healing process.
However, the inertia has been overwhelming. He’s never sat so long in his life without doing anything active and that includes sparring. To keep himself busy, he’s been sharing clips of past training sessions online to battle his boredom and remember only the good times.
On Twitter, he wrote:
“Missing sparring at the minute 😢”
Fans sympathized with Harrison online, with one person commenting:
“I suppose you are injured? It could be worse, I just turned 55, and this year I stopped Muay thaï. I'm getting too old. I used to do a lot of karaté when I was younger, so I can still train in martial arts. Age is the only thing you can't cure. I wish you a good recovery.”
