British Muay Thai legend and former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title challenger 'Hitman' Liam Harrison of the United Kingdom looked back on the supposed final fight of his career and found out where he went wrong.

Harrison faced Thai icon 'The Man Who Yields To No One' Seksan Or Kwanmuang at ONE 169: Denver last September, and lost via second-round technical knockout in an exciting fight.

However, Harrison wasn't satisfied with his performance. The 39-year-old veteran was coming off a two-year absence due to injury and made his return against one of the most dangerous opponents he could face.

'Hitman' says it was a mistake to take on such a huge risk like Seksan in his first fight back after his knee injury.

Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, the Bad Company Representative said:

"Considering Seksan fought seven times in the last year, compared to me being sidelined, I should’ve had more ring time before getting in there with someone like him."

Harrison is one of the most decorated Muay Thai fighters in history, and has fought some of the biggest names in 'the art of eight limbs'.

The 39-year-old joined the world's largest martial arts organization in December of 2018 at the tail end of his career.

Liam Harrison unretires after an offer he could not refuse from ONE Championship: "I want to go out on a high"

British legend 'Hitman' Liam Harrison says he was going to ride off into the sunset and call it a career, but ONE Championship came knocking on his doorstep with an offer he could not refuse.

The 39-year-old teased:

"I was going to stay away, but ONE gave me a good offer, and I want to go out on a high."

Depending on the outcome of his next fight, Harrison will decide whether he wants to continue his run or not:

"If I can do that, remain active, stay injury-free, I think I can do that. We’ll go one fight at a time and decide how I feel."
