Tawanchai PK Saenchai has established a reputation as one of the more technical fighters in ONE Championship. Such has impressed fight fans, who consider him as must-see fare every time he plunges into action.

He did not waste time showcasing his topnotch Muay Thai skills as in his promotional debut he fashioned a spectacular one-shot knockout of Sean Clancy of Ireland.

The setting was ONE: Dangal in May 2021 in Singapore. The impressive finish took place in the third round, where the Thai superstar patiently set up himself up for a solid kick to the head that Clancy never saw coming. It was instant lights out for his opponent and the fight immediately waived off after.

ONE Championship relived the explosive victory of Tawanchai with a video post on Instagram ahead of his scheduled match this week.

Tawanchai defends Muay Thai gold for the fourth time at ONE 170

ONE Championship's Instagram post on Tawanchai PK Saenchai was in line with his scheduled match on Jan. 24 at ONE 170, where he will defend the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title for the fourth time.

The 25-year-old champion runs it back with fellow Thai superstar and kickboxing king Superbon in the headlining contest of the event happening at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Tawanchai defeated Superbon by majority decision in their first title clash in December 2023. It was his second successful defense after his 49-second TKO of Jamal Yusupov of Turkey in his first test as world champion in February of the same year.

In his last match in June, he once again triumphantly defended his belt with a majority decision win over veteran Thai fighter Jo Nattawut.

ONE 170 is available on the ONE YouTube channel and Facebook (geo-restrictions may apply) as well as on watch.ONEFC.com.
