"Like two trains clashing" - Johan Estupinan predicts an explosive affair vs. Johan Ghazali at ONE 170

Johan Estupinan has certainly been battle tested during his time in ONE Championship. The young Colombian has put on some of the best fights that we have seen in the promotion since he debuted in May last year.

Through four fights in the promotion, he has racked up four wins to really put together a breakout year in 2024. While 'Panda Kick' has produced three knockouts in that time, that doesn't necessarily tell the full story of some of his encounters under the ONE banner.

The 22-year-old has been in some incredible wars before getting his hand raised and he believes that this will be the case once again at ONE 170. On Jan. 24 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, he will face off with a fellow rising star in the promotion in Johan Ghazali.

Both men have been known to push the pace, get at their opponents and hunt for the finish which should make their bout a must-watch.

Johan Estupinan said exactly that in a recent interview with ONE Championship where he told fans what to expect:

"This will be like two trains clashing against each other, only my train will leave a bigger impact."

Johan Estupinan is an all-or-nothing kind of fighter

Whilst both Johan Estupinan and Johan Ghazali are two incredibly exciting talents, there are some differences between them.

They both tend to put opponents away but they do it in different fashion and that could play a big part in this fight. Estupinan has demonstrated a diverse arsenal with each weapon in his arsenal being capable of closing the show.

If he's going to out-gun Ghazali on Jan. 24, he needs to be composed in order to pick his shots. This fight could get chaotic and in that instance, whoever fights smarter will have the best chance of prevailing.
