Sometimes that added tension between two competitors can increase the hype for their upcoming contest.

On the ONE Championship roster, one fighter is more well known for doing it than any other, the ONE interim strawweight world champion, Jarred Brooks.

Brooks has never been one to hold his tongue especially when it comes to giving his thoughts on his fellow contenders in the same weight class.

However, he's always respectful at the end of the fight and doesn't intend for it to be taken personally.

In a recent exclusive interview with Sportskeeda, Adiwang gave his thoughts on Brooks' talking, stating that he believes there is a benefit to it:

"I think it's a good way for him to gain more fans and viewers of the promotion, so I'm fine with that. Just as long as he doesn't cross the line that he shouldn't like family and what not. But I believe he knows that, he's a smart guy, he knows the things that he says."

Lito Adiwang is excited for his countryman Danny Kingad

Lito Adiwang may not have his next bout on the schedule but he is excited to cheer on his fellow Filipino athlete in Danny Kingad.

The flyweight veteran is all set for one of his biggest fights of his career at ONE 169 on Nov. 8 in Lumpinee Stadium.

Having lost to him once in the past, Kingad will face former champion Adriano Moraes in a rematch.

Speaking exclusively to Sportskeeda MMA, Adiwang said that he believes 'The King' can earn his revenge at the second time of asking:

"I'm really excited to watch Danny... I expect Danny to get the big win here. You can see his improvement these past few years. I've trained with Danny, and I've seen how much he's grown as a fighter."
