Lito Adiwang hopes that in the future, he can make the most out of competing under the ONE Championship banner.

A major aspect of ONE that separates the promotion from others is that it houses multiple rulesets all under the same roof.

As a result, fight fans tuning into cards like ONE Fight Night 26 can expect to see world-class action from MMA, striking, and submission grappling.

Since joining the promotion in 2019, Adiwang has been a staple of the strawweight division and is currently riding a three-fight win streak. However, he also hopes to test himself in kickboxing and Muay Thai as he attempts to widen his horizon in martial arts.

'Thunder Kid' wouldn't be the first competitor to do this on the roster with the likes of Danial Williams, who Lito Adiwang beat last time out, constantly switching between different divisions and rulesets.

In a recent interview with ONE Championship, the Filipino competitor laid out his hopes to compete in striking:

"That's one of my plans. I want to do it for myself as well to entertain the fans. I want to leave a good impression for fans by showcasing an exciting and memorable fight."

Lito Adiwang has accomplished the unthinkable before

Lito Adiwang competing in Muay Thai or kickboxing wouldn't be the most surprising aspect of his career.

Last year, he returned from what looked like a potentially career-ending injury that he suffered against Jeremy Miado at ONE X in 2022.

'Thunder Kid' has come back stronger than ever with three wins in a row since beating Adrian Mattheis at ONE Friday Fights 34.

From there, he got his revenge over Miado at ONE Fight Night 16 before beating Williams at ONE Fight Night 19 in February.

You can't afford to rule someone like Adiwang out so if he wants to strike, you can be sure that he'll make it happen.
