Strawweight MMA athlete Lito Adiwang expects Jarred Brooks to bring on the wrestling to capture the easy finish over Reece McLaren.

MMA fans are in for a real treat this Friday at ONE Fight Night 26, when ONE interim strawweight world champion Jarred Brooks fights up his weight class to begin his quest for double gold.

On the other end, we have Australian superstar Reece McLaren, who has made his career as one of the most vicious competitors in the division.

However, Adiwang, doesn't seem too confident that McLaren will be able to outwit Brooks if the fight goes to the ground.

Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA, Lito Adiwang illustrated how he thinks this fight is going to play out:

"If Jarred gets a finish in this match, I think it will be due to a ground and pound. Of course, Reece will try to play this on the feet - create distance, attack while utilizing his length, stop the takedown, and take opportunities to submit Jarred when it's available."

ONE Fight Night 26 airs live from the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand via Prime Video in North America.

"Deep inside my heart, I want that rematch" - Lito Adiwang

Lito Adiwang is waiting patiently on the sidelines for Jarred Brooks to return to strawweight as soon as he's done with Reece McLaren.

The two have reignited their rivalry after Adiwang called out the American during his in-ring interviews back in February at ONE Fight Night 19.

Scoring a dominant victory over Danial Williams is by no means unimpressive, so Adiwang is determined to redeem himself in the eyes of the world with an exciting rematch.

Speaking to The MMA Superfan, he said:

"Ever since he beat me, no one would believe me when I said that I wanted to fight him again. Deep inside my heart, I want that rematch."
