Lito Adiwang pointed out an attribute of one of the biggest stars in combat sports today that often gets overlooked when people celebrate his game.

The best strikers in the world are all going to be powerful, fast, accurate, and durable, but what can often be the difference between them when they collide with one another is their fight IQ.

Having the ability to read an opponent and make the right adjustments is crucial to compete at the highest level and that's something that Adiwang doesn't feel like Rodtang Jitmuangnon gets enough credit for.

'The Iron Man' has become a global star in Muay Thai thanks to his impressive record and entertaining fights that never fail to deliver. However, his taunting of opponents and ruthless rapid-fire combinations wouldn't be possible if he wasn't a step ahead of them in the fight.

Before the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion returns to Lumpinee Stadium at ONE 169, Adiwang spoke about this underrated aspect of his game:

"His fight IQ is also something else, where he studies your moves and predicts your next one and then suddenly throws power shots at you."

Lito Adiwang could be proven right about Rodtang on Nov. 8

This underrated fight IQ that Lito Adiwang is talking about is sure to be on show at ONE 169, which takes place inside Lumpinee Stadium on Nov. 8.

Rodtang will be putting his title on the line in a rematch with Jacob Smith as part of one of the biggest cards of the year.

'The Iron Man' was dominant in their previous meeting but what he can't afford to do is overlook the Brit who is full of confidence heading into this rematch.

Smith believes that he has what it takes to really test that Thai superstar this time around who will need to use his fight IQ to remain in control.
