Filipino MMA fighter Lito Adiwang believes Thai Thongpoon PK Saenchai needs to address some things to better compete against Australian fireball Danial Williams in their scheduled Muay Thai clash next week.
The PK Saenchai Muaythaigym affiliate will take on 'Mini T' in a strawweight Muay Thai showdown, part of the 12-fight offering ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6 happening at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
In an interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Adiwang shared his two cents' worth on the Thongpoon-Williams match, pointing out that the Thai star needs to adjust through the course of the showdown to better handle what Williams will be packing.

"Thongpoon will go forward no matter what. I want him to be playful with some angles. We know this is Muay Thai, but he needs to adjust his game a bit so that he won't get beaten up."
Thongpoon enters ONE Fight Night 26 seeking to halt a two-fight slide, the most recent of his losses coming at the hands of Rui Botelho of Portugal. Prior to hitting the rough patch he was on a roll, winning three straight.
For his part, Williams is out to make it back-to-back wins after clipping a four-fight skid in his last match in October with a decision victory over China's Banma Duoji in an MMA scrap. The Perth native is among a few fighters in ONE Championship concurrently competing in MMA, Muay Thai and kickboxing.
ONE Fight Night 27 will be aired live and for free in U.S, primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
Thongpoon views Danial Williams fight with a lot of weight
Thongpoon PK Saenchai views his showdown with Danial Williams at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6 with a lot of significance, believing that his future in ONE Championship hinges on it.
Losing his last two matches, the Thai star said he recognizes that he needs to turn things around in his next fight lest he find himself in a very deep hole that would be tricky to come out from.
He told ONE Championship in an interview:
"For this fight, I am hungry for victory because if I lose again, it will affect my future in ONE. In other words, my back is against the wall right now."
The 27-year-old Thai fighter actually got off to a strong start in his ONE journey, winning three straight until the back-to-back losses to earn a six-figure contract with the promotion.
