Conor McGregor's former training partner Dillon Danis intervened when Logan Paul took a recent dig at the Irishman. Danis is scheduled to face British YouTuber KSI in a boxing match on January 14.
McGregor recently claimed that he couldn't care less about Danis' upcoming fight while confirming that he is still on good terms with 'El Jefe.'
According to 'Notorious,' Danis would do better to get back into MMA than delve into the 'genre of boxing.' Replying to KSI, the former UFC double champ wrote on Twitter:
"Brother you’re a friendly little nerd I don’t care. He should be back doing mma if he is doing this little nothing burger match with you. I couldn’t care less about this genre of boxing, I am sorry. Have a good one."

YouTuber turned professional boxer Logan Paul immediately hit back at McGregor, claiming to have dealt more damage to Floyd Mayweather than 'Notorious' did. While Paul survived eight rounds against Mayweather in an exhibition match last year, McGregor suffered a 10th-round TKO loss to 'Money' in 2017. 'The Maverick' wrote:
"“Genre of boxing” ?? Boxing is boxing. I’m a YouTuber & I still did more damage to Floyd than you 😘"
Danis came to Conor McGregor's defense, blaming Paul for the cancelation of their fight earlier this year. 'The Maverick' had pulled out of the fight citing an injury to his knee that he seemingly suffered during a WWE appearance. Danis wrote:
"I would’ve showed you the difference if you didn’t pull out you bum."
Dillon Danis is seemingly well aware of Conor McGregor's disinterest in his upcoming fight against KSI
Dillon Danis shared a close bond with Conor McGregor at one point, which even led to the infamous 'dolly' incident with Khabib Nurmagomedov's team. However, the pair have not been seen together in a while, making others, including Danis' upcoming opponent KSI, question the bond.

The YouTuber recently asked 'El Jefe' if Conor McGregor would pick up his call immediately, considering he used to be the Irishman's "b**ch boy." Danis claimed that McGregor is not interested in his upcoming boxing fight and would be more concerned about him fighting in MMA. The former Bellator fighter said on Kai Cenat's live stream:
"He doesn't know about the fight. He's not interested in me fighting a YouTuber... This is like little s***. He's more worried when I fight MMA and I fight real fighters."
