It seems Conor McGregor's lofty dreams of bagging $250 million from an Ambani Family-backed fight event in India are slowly deteriorating. His supposed opponent, WWE star and social media influencer Logan Paul went on Raw on Netflix today to indirectly address his rumored match with the Irishman.
Addressing the WWE Universe, Paul seemingly cemented his pro wrestling job as a full-time gig. Doing "side hustle" like a boxing match with McGregor - no matter how lucrative - may be out of the picture now.
Happy Punch posted Paul's quote on X:
"I've been so good at this. Now, I'm dedicating my life to this. No More side hustle, no more bullsh*t. 100% WWE..."

Ever since 'The Notorious' announced the fight on X late last year, rumors started circulating about how much he and his opponent would make, which is a whopping nine-figure paycheck - each.
Although Paul didn't directly address the fight on Raw nor shoot it down in other interviews, his proclaiming his full-time stay in the pro wrestling promotion doesn't bode well for Conor McGregor.
When Conor McGregor announced fight with Logan Paul in India via tweet
The whole world took notice when Conor McGregor - fresh from his legal troubles outside the cage - suddenly announced that he'll be fighting in India. As if fighting in India wasn't already a surprise, his opponent would be WWE superstar and former influencer boxer Logan Paul.
To make it even more peculiar, McGregor made the announcement on X, along with a major namedrop of a wealthy and influential Indian family:
"The rumors of a bout with topurio are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon."
Since then, The Mac Life announced that the fight was to be part of a historic "Visit India" tourism campaign, similar to Saudi Arabia's widely successful 'Riyadh Season' sporting events. It was also reported to take place in Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium, which houses over 30,000 seats. It was also rumored that McGregor and Paul to make $250 million for the fight, making it the highest-paying prizefight in history.
We wouldn't blame anyone if they find all this to be too good to be true.
