UFC strawweight fighters Loma Lookboonme and Elise Reed are set to lock horns on February 12, 2023, at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia.

The pair will be fighting on the undercard of the super fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Islam Makhachev, the #1 and #2 ranked P4P fighters in the UFC. The Thai fighter comes in at 5'1", weighs around 115 lbs, and has a 61.5-inch reach. Reed, on the other hand, comes in at 5'3", weighs around 114 lbs, and has a 63-inch giving her a more than one-inch reach advantage.

Loma Lookboonme is looking to advance in the strawweight rankings as the only Thai fighter in the promotion. The Muay Thai specialist is 3-1 in her last four fights. She won her last fight against Denise Gomes via unanimous decision and has looked impressive in her last few fights. She uses a combination of devastating leg kicks and elbows to slowly destroy her opponents.

Elise Reed, on the other hand, is 2-2 in her last four fights since joining the UFC. The American has struggled to find her groove inside the ring and has failed to remain consistent. She will look to keep her winning streak going and help push her into the strawweight rankings.

Loma Lookboonme thanks her team ahead of her UFC 284 fight

Loma Lookboonme is at a pivotal point in her UFC career. The Muay Thai specialist got herself into a fight on one of the biggest fight cards of the year. If she can prove herself against an opponent like Elise Reed, she can look to challenge a ranked strawweight fighter next.

Ahead of her fight, she thanked her team who supported her through her ups and downs during fight camp

"So fortunate to have this gang as my close friends. They are always supporting me both in training and outside of training. I love that they are my training partners and my coaches at the same time. Whenever I slipped the word “I can’t” they would kick my ass and tell me “Shut up! Of course can do it!” And I always do the exact same thing back to them whenever they need it. We always take turns to push each other. What a bunch of idiots."
