Two of the best female grapplers in the world will take center stage inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium on February 24 in a marquee catchweight bout at 119 pounds.

With less than a month left before her return, Kelly briefly teased her followers about her physical and mental condition ahead of her third match inside the Circle. The Silver Fox BJJ representative captioned a photo of herself on Instagram, clad in ONE Championship gear:

In Dragon Ball lore, a “Super Saiyan” is an advanced transformation phenomenon that gives members of the Saiyan race a massive boost in their fighting capabilities.

It’s basically the epitome of absolute strength, power, and courage, which of course, a lot of fighters can identify with.

Meanwhile, Danielle Kelly has looked sensational in her first two outings with ONE, following her virtuosic performances against the likes of Mei Yamaguchi and Mariia Molchanova.

The 27-year-old is already well ahead of the pack in terms of sheer skill. The idea of her taking it up another notch is a scary sight for any opponent -- even against a former women’s strawweight world title challenger like Ayaka Miura.

Then again, Kelly might really need to go "Super Saiyan" since Miura will be her stiffest challenge yet. The Japanese judoka sensation is no slouch in the grappling department, as evidenced by her 100 percent finishing rate in her mixed martial arts bouts inside the Circle.

‘Zombie’ has four emphatic submissions coming from the scarf hold or “kesa-gatame” position, which has been aptly dubbed as the “Ayaka Lock”.

The upcoming bout between Kelly and Miura is a definite must-watch. Good thing it will air live on US Primetime and for free for existing Amazon Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.

Danielle Kelly says BJJ practitioners are “more flowy” than judokas

Danielle Kelly is well aware of the dangers that Ayaka Miura possesses, particularly with her powerful throws and immense top pressure. Still, the American Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace noted several advantages she has over the third-degree judo black belt.

Danielle Kelly told The MMA Superfan in an earlier interview:

“I think they’re similar in some ways, but I think a jiu-jitsu person, they’re more flowy. I thought my next match was going to be against a jiu-jitsu person - I even called out a jiu-jitsu girl. Hopefully, I get that matchup after this one."

She continued:

“But yeah, I think jiu-jitsu people, we know pretty much each other’s games. It’s like, everyone’s competing every weekend. So they’re more fluid, more flowy from scrambles.”
