Fans reacted to Leon Edwards' shredded physique heading into UFC 304.
Next Saturday, July 27, will represent the latest chapter in Edwards' run as the UFC welterweight champion. The 32-year-old is scheduled to fight in his hometown of England, as he headlines UFC 304 in Manchester against number two-ranked Belal Muhammad, who plans to solidify his legacy with a world title.
Edwards is preparing for one of the toughest challenges of his fighting career due to Muhammad's relentless determination to become a UFC champion. 'Remember The Name' is riding a nine-fight win streak and patiently waited for his title shot since defeating Gilbert Burns by unanimous decision in May 2023.
Edward's dietitian, Jordan Sullivan, recently shared a photo on Instagram of the welterweight king physically looking ready for UFC 304. The image was re-posted on Twitter, leading to fans reacting in the comment section of a popular account:

UFC 304 won't be the first time that Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad have fought. In March 2021, they headlined a fight night event inside the APEX as top welterweight contenders. Unfortunately, the matchup ended in disappointment, as Edwards landed an eye poke in round two, leading to a no-contest.
Leon Edwards looks to extend unexpected run as UFC welterweight world champion
Most people didn't predict Leon Edwards would pull off a massive upset against Kamaru Usman to become the UFC welterweight champion. To be fair, those predictions were on track to being correct before 'Rocky' shocked the world with a fifth-round head kick that left Usman unconscious.
Edwards later silenced the doubters by fighting Usman in an immediate rematch and emerging victorious by majority decision. The 32-year-old defended his throne for a second time with a shutout performance against Colby Covington in the UFC 296 main event, which went down in December 2023.
At UFC 304, Edwards has an opportunity to extend his legacy by proving Belal Muhammad won't be the fighter to dethrone him. The welterweight king is playing with house money heading into next Saturday's main event, but he's not satisfied and plans to continue taking out 170-pound contenders.
