Zamboanga claimed the interim atomweight belt with a second-round TKO of fellow contender Alyona Rassohyna in their title match at ONE Fight Night 27 on Jan. 10 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Stamp was at ringside to witness her former training partner add her name to the roster of ONE world champions.
ONE Championship shared a split video on Instagram of 'The Menace' finishing off Rassohyna and the Thai supertar reacting impressed with the win.

While they are going to be opponents in the not-so-distant future in a unification bout, it did not stop ONE atomweight world champion Stamp Fairtex from praising newly minted interim champion Denice Zamboanga following her impressive TKO win at ONE Fight Night 27.
The Thai superstar shared her thoughts on the win of friend and former training partner Zamboanga over Alyona Rassohyna in an interview with combat sports journalist Nick Atkin of the Bangkok Post, highlighting the Filipino champion's improved form and game.
"She has a really good body. She's really fit and her boxing is really good, and ground game is good."

There is no word yet on when Stamp will be making her return to action from knee injury but she has made significant progress in her recovery and is expected to be back this year.
