Hawaii-born American fighter Lowen Tynanes will be competing at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video in the United States in May. At the event, he'll take on former ONE lightweight world champion Ok Rae Yoon of South Korea.
The promotion recently made the announcement as it continues to assemble the card for its first-ever on-ground live event in the U.S., which is set to happen on May 5 at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.
Lowen Tynanes is coming off a split decision victory in his last fight back in December over South Korean Dae Sung Park. The victory was a bounce back for him after absorbing his first defeat in ONE Championship against former featherweight king Marat Gafurov.

While with the promotion since 2013, the Hawaii Elite MMA affiliate has seen his journey hit rough patches due to injuries, but remains one of the fighters to contend with. Against Ok, Lowen Tynanes looks to sustain his winning form as he makes his push in the divisional rankings.
Meanwhile, Ok, the No. 1 lightweight contender, kicks off his redemption push after losing the ONE lightweight world title to Christian Lee last August. He became world champion in September 2021.
The Tynanes-Ok clash was among the new bouts added for ONE Fight Night 10, along with the flyweight rematch between Kairat Ahmetov and Reece McLaren and the women's strawweight Muay Thai collision between Jackie Buntan and Diandra Martin.
ONE Fight Night 10 is headlined by the trilogy fight between reigning ONE flyweight world champion Demetrious Johnson and former division king Adriano Moraes. It will be aired live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.
ONE on Prime Video 5: Lowen Tynanes outlasts powerful Dae Sung Park
Lowen Tynanes marked his return to action after two years on a winning note, outlasting Dae Sung Park in their lightweight clash back in December at ONE on Prime Video 5 in Manila.
The Hawaiian defeated his South Korean opponent by split division as he bounced back from his first defeat in ONE Championship in December 2020 at the hands of former ONE featherweight world champion Marat Gafarov.
Tynanes and Park competed hard for much of their clash, which even saw the Hawaii Elite MMA affiliate bust open after an incidental headbutt late in the second round.
In the third round, the American fighter got early leverage and capitalized on it. He secured a quick takedown and took Park’s back, holding him in position for the majority of the time, which eventually made the difference in earning him the win.
It was Lowen Tynanes’ seventh win in eight matches in ONE Championship.
