Luis Alberto Lopez vs. Angelo Leo is set to take place Saturday night in IBF featherweight title action. Lopez will aim to notch another championship defense against a game challenger in Leo who has secured four wins in his last five outings. Also, Leo will be the partisan favorite here as he will look to garner gold in his hometown and halt Lopez from notching the fourth defense of his crown here.
The fistic fireworks will go down on Aug. 10 and emanate from Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Lopez enters the ring with a professional record of thirty wins opposite two defeats. Conversely, Leo has twenty-four wins and one loss in the professional boxing ring.
The former WBO super bantamweight champion Leo looks to cement himself as a multi-division champion but Luis Alberto Lopez will certainly have something to say about that.
The start time for the card goes down at 9 PM Eastern Time, main event walkouts will transpire at approximately 11 PM Eastern Time, and the pugilistic proceedings will broadcast on ESPN+.
