Luke Lessei believes he hasn't reached his full potential using four-ounce gloves in Muay Thai.
Over the last seven months, Lessei has made a name for himself in ONE Championship by producing entertaining wars in his two promotional appearances.
Despite earning fan's respect, 'The Chef' hasn't fully adjusted to using smaller gloves compared to his past fights outside of ONE.
During an interview with Sportskeeda, the 28-year-old American had this to say about continuing to improve with four-ounce gloves:

"I mean my main focus right now is learning this rhythm, this game with the smaller four-ounce gloves. A lot of people don't realize my first time ever fighting in small gloves was against Jo Nattawut."
Lessei followed up by saying:
"So yeah, I'm still learning the pace, and I'm young, I'm a fast learner, and once I kind of get this rhythm down and start figuring out how to, you know, I'd win these fights a little bit easier with the small gloves. I think it's going to be like really taking a next-level step to Tawanchai, Jo, and Superbon."
Luke Lessei made his ONE debut in December 2023.
The American superstar suffered a unanimous decision loss against Jo Nattawut in a Fight of the Year contender. Two months later, Lessei returned and defeated Eddie Abasolo by split decision to become the No.5-ranked featherweight Muay Thai fighter.
