Mackenzie Dern recently expressed her thoughts after finding a place in Aljamain Sterling's partner's top five female UFC fighters list. Sterling's partner used the acronym "baddies" to signify her favorites.

Dern bagged the ADCC and no-gi BJJ world championships before signing with the UFC and boasted a significant amount of fame even before her UFC entry. However, her popularity grew massively after her octagon debut at UFC 222 in 2018. Dern currently holds a UFC career record of 9-5 with her next fight coming on Jan. 12 against Amanda Ribas.

Aljamain Sterling's girlfriend, Rebecca Cruz, appeared as the guest on the latest episode of his YouTube podcast. Sterling also posted a section of it to his Instagram, which featured him questioning his partner about her top five women UFC fighters whom he called "baddies".

Cruz gave the top spot on her list to Tabatha Ricci, followed by Dern, Natalia Silva, Ribas, and Polyana Viana, respectively.

Mackenzie Dern brought an unusual friend to UFC Vegas 101 media day

UFC fans have witnessed fighters being accompanied by their entourages for the pre-fight events. Even noted celebrities like Drake and Sergio Ramos have appeared on the stage of UFC pre-fight events to support their pals.

Mackenzie Dern also decided to bring one of her friends to the UFC Vegas 101 media day, but it wasn't a human. Instead, it was her dog, Mack, a well-built Cane Corso.

Here's what Dern said to reporters about her dog:

"Yeah, he’s like security and emotional support. He helps me a lot in being comfortable. He goes to the gym with me and everything like that."
