Eddie Abasolo is getting tired of receiving the short end of the stick when it comes to closely contested fights.
At ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug, the flashy Filipino-American striker vows to take matters into his own hands and remove the judges from the equation entirely by scoring a decisive knockout finish.
'Silky Smooth' will trade some heavy leather with Mohamed Younes Rabah inside 'The Mecca of Muay Thai' Lumpinee Stadium on Nov. 8.
Speaking to Cageside Press ahead of this three-round slugfest, Abasolo revealed his plan to give 'The Eagle' a rude welcome to the featherweight Muay Thai division:

"I’m going in there for the knockout because I ain’t getting no decisions, plain and simple. So I just gotta go out there and make it clear and knock him out."
Abasolo has wowed audiences in the home of martial arts with his fluid and electrifying way of fighting. Unfortunately, his style hasn't exactly translated into wins, going just 1-3 in his first four matches.
Those three setbacks were all decision losses, which quite frankly, could have gone his way.
Eddie Abasolo ready to go for broke against Mohamed Younes Rabah
Needless to say, Eddie Abasolo will enter ONE 169 with his back against the wall.
As determined as he is to get his hand raised, 'Silky Smooth' understands that Mohamed Younes Rabah won't just roll over since he also wants to make an immediate impact in the 155-pound Muay Thai ranks.
The Vallejo, California native told the Cageside Press:
"I’m expecting that kind of fight [kill or be killed] coming from him and by the way the fights have been playing out for me in my last couple of fights, that’s what it is for me too."
ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug will air live in US Primetime free of charge for Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
