The 20-year-old has earned the right to compete at the very top of the card following his impressive winning streak in the promotion. He has continued to climb up the ladder with each outing, but on Jan. 24, it's time to take a big step up.

Following an injury to defending champion Superlek Kiatmoo9, Nabil Anane was offered the opportunity to face No. 2-ranked Nico Carrillo in a ONE interim bantamweight Muay Thai world championship contest.

ONE 170 is a huge moment for him that has come so early in his career, but he believes that he is ready to step up to the plate.

A big part of his motivation, as he revealed in an interview with ONE Championship, is bringing the gold back to his family:

Nabil Anane faces a tough test at ONE 170

This fight is easily the biggest moment in the career of Nabil Anane to date but this huge reward is attached to a huge risk.

He's already faced some of the top competitors on the roster, including Superlek who he met down at flyweight on his debut.

The young gun has been able to transition successfully into a bantamweight but in Scotland's Nico Carrillo, he faces an explosive powerhouse who has been able to finish each of his opponents since signing with ONE.
