Dante Leon is grateful for ONE Championship's global platform.
In December 2024, Leon made his promotional debut at ONE Fight Night 26. The Canadian submission grappler showcased his world-class skills against Bruno Pucci, securing an armbar win in slightly over three minutes.
Leon walked away with a $50,000 performance bonus, proving he has a bright future in ONE. During an interview with JitsMagazine, the 29-year-old grappler had this to say about utilizing the promotion's extended fanbase reach:
"I think ONE's a great platform for that. It gives me the opportunity to reach a massive region of the world that, typically with our sport and typically with where we are based as athletes, we never have a chance to reach, and I think that's a pivotal part in changing the landscape of the sport and helping make the sport go global."

Dante Leon scheduled for second ONE Championship appearance
Dante Leon's armbar finish against Bruno Pucci put the ONE lightweight submission grappling division on notice. The Canadian now looks to take out a former title challenger with plenty of world-class experience.
On Friday, Jan. 10, Leon will face Tommy Langaker in a catchweight submission grappling bout at ONE Fight Night 27.
Langaker started his promotional tenure with wins against Renato Canuto and Uali Kurzhev. Since then, the Norweigan has narrowly suffered back-to-back unanimous decision losses against Kade Ruotolo for the lightweight world title.
Langaker has showcased his world-class skills by winning various tournaments, including the IBJJF No-Gi world championship, IBJJF European Open, IBJJF No-Gi European Open, ADCC European Trials, and AJP Abu Dhabi Pro.
ONE Fight Night 27 goes down inside the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Friday's event featuring the catchweight submission grappling bout between Langaker and Leon can be seen live and for free by North American and Canadian viewers with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
