When a UFC welterweight gifted Joe Rogan his grandfather's cap after fight
Joe Rogan is often seen interviewing fighters after their matches inside the octagon. Ramiz Brahimaj was coming off a loss to take on Mickey Gall at UFC 309. He flatlined Gall in the first round with a vicious KO to return to the winning column. After his dominant victory, as Rogan entered the octagon to interview him, Brahimaj put an Albanian hat on his head.
The 32-year-old UFC welterweight, while responding to a question regarding the same in the post-fight media interaction, asked the reporters to tell Rogan to take care of the hat:
"That was my grandfather's and it's like a tribal hat right...Hopefully, you guys tweet out to him, you guys are a lot more famous than I am.. just tweet out to Joe and tell him to take care of that thing. … He's an honorary Albanian tonight."
