The 21-year-old American superstar is coming off his successful MMA debut at ONE 167 when he submitted Blake Cooper in the first round of their lightweight MMA match inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Kade Ruotolo to fully focus on training BJJ for his mega clash with Mikey Musumeci at ONE 168: Denver

Although he exceeded all expectations from his inaugural MMA outing on June 7, Ruotolo will have to wait for his next mixed martial arts bout, as he will have to face the reigning ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion Mikey Musumeci on Sept. 6 at ONE 168: Denver.

The BJJ savant will try to fend off the challenge from 'Darth Rigatoni' and retain his 26-pound golden belt in Colorado. A victory for Kade would cement his status as one of the best pound-for-pound submission grapplers in the world today.

ONE 168: Denver will air live from the Ball Arena in U.S. primetime on Sept. 6. Tickets for the event are now on sale on Ticketmaster.
