Manel Kape accuses UFC 304 referee of turning a blind eye to Muhammad Mokaev's "dirty games," divides fans on social media

Manel Kape recently slammed MMA referee Mike Beltran for ignoring Muhammad Mokaev's "dirty games" during their fight at UFC 304 last weekend. Kape took to social media to post allegedly damning footage of the fight and blamed Beltran for not penalizing Mokaev when required.

After engaging in an ugly scuffle at the fighter hotel just days before their fight at UFC 304 in Manchester, many expected Mokaev and Kape to throw the kitchen sink at each other in their grudge match. However, the two flyweights followed a prudent and guarded game plan. After three rounds of uninspired action, Mokaev won the fight via unanimous decision.

In a recent X post, Kape posted footage of their fight and slammed Beltran for not stopping it when Mokaev seemingly tapped out during a submission attempt. He wrote:

"You can clearly see the moment when Mokaev taps. Before the fight we were warned by the same referee that any manipulation of tap or dirty games the judge would end the fight or have removed the point. But??"

Fans soon flocked to the post's comments section to express their thoughts on the matter.

Some fans agreed with Kape's statements and backed the flyweight's claims. One fan wrote:

Manel Kape recently sounded off on the judges for awarding Muhammad Mokaev the unanimous decision win at UFC 304 and accused his opponent of using several illegal moves during the fight.

Sharing his reaction to the bout in an X post, Kape lashed out at Mokaev and questioned how the 24-year-old got away with a hold of penalty-worthy moves. He wrote:

"I definitely won this fight, that pull of the shorts deserved to be removed a the point, two fingers in the eyes, 3 kicks in b*lls. Anyway, it was not the best performance. I apologize for those who expected the best from me but only Allah knows. Alkamdulillah for everything."
