ONE featherweight kickboxing standout Marat Grigorian plans to make the most out of the opportunity that has come about following the shocking departure of former division kingpin Chingiz Allazov in August.
Following his wondrous second-round knockout of Abdelali Zahidi at ONE Friday Fights 92 last Dec. 20, Grigorian admitted in the post-fight interview with the Bangkok Post that he is fully zeroed in on Superbon, saying:
"I think Chingiz is already long out of the game. So there is only one person left in that — Superbon."

Grigorian has a bone to pick with the head honcho of Superbon Training Camp after the Thai megastar defeated him via unanimous decision at ONE Friday Fights 58 this past April to claim the interim featherweight kickboxing crown.
Not only did the Hemmers Gym product miss out on capturing his first ONE world championship, but he also suffered his second straight defeat to Superbon.
It should be noted that Grigorian knocked out Superbon in just 30 seconds when they clashed in February 2018 during their time outside of ONE.
With the departure of 'Chinga', the door is wide open for another showdown between the heated rivals — this time for the undisputed 155-pound kickboxing world championship.
Marat Grigorian hoping for fourth clash with Superbon to happen outside Thailand
Marat Grigorian is optimistic that a fourth matchup with Superbon will happen very soon. If he could have his way, he would prefer it to happen anywhere else but Superbon's home country of Thailand.
In the same interview with the Bangkok Post, the 33-year-old three-time Glory Kickboxing world champion mentioned:
"Against Superbon, I don't want to fight in Thailand. I want to fight somewhere else, you know. It will be better for me."
