Former ONE bantamweight world champion Bibiano Fernandes will be looking to bounce back from a loss for the first time in nearly four years. The ONE legend will make his way back to the circle after dropping his bantamweight crown to John Lineker at ONE: Lights Out.
Meeting him will be Team Lakay standout, Stephen Loman. Undefeated inside the circle, ‘The Sniper’ will look to continue his ascension up the bantamweight rankings at the expense of one of the promotion’s most tenured stars.
Of course, it won’t be an easy task as Loman will probably be tasked with defeating a hungrier and more motivated Bibiano Fernandes following his shocking loss to ‘Hands of Stone’ in March.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Loman's famed coach, Mark Sangiao, spoke about the ONE on Prime Video 4 match-up, suggesting that ‘The Flash’ will have something to prove in his return:

“We know Bibiano had not tasted defeat for a long time, and that loss was a big lesson for him. So I’m expecting we’re going to get a wiser, better, and a more dangerous Bibiano Fernandes. We’re prepared for whatever he’ll bring.”
Bibiano Fernandes looks back at the beginning of a storied ONE Championship career
Debuting under the ONE Championship banner in 2012, Bibiano Fernades is one of the most tenured stars in the history of the promotion. The former bantamweight titleholder looked back at his career on Instagram, sharing a video clip of his first-ever appearance in ONE against Gustavo Falciroli.
“My first One Championship fight I am blessed to have written such a victorious story in the organization and as they themselves like to say: there is no other champion like Bibiano Fernandes 🥇🔥 #BJJ #BJJ #Karate e #BeastMode #Fight #Fitness #familia #Asia #Motivation"
It was the first of 10 straight victories that included two ONE world title victories. ‘The Flash' wouldn’t experience his first setback until nearly six years after his debut, dropping the ONE bantamweight world title to Kevin Belingon in a closely contested split decision.
Given the close nature of the judge’s decision, Fernandes received an immediate rematch where he recaptured the crown via disqualification.
The pair would meet for a fourth time in their careers in late 2019. Fernandes scored a second-round submission, retaining his place atop the division and putting a definitive end to their rivalry.
