Mark Zuckerberg has just been targeted by Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, who took to X/Twitter to accuse him of hypocrisy following the former's appearance on episode #2255 of The Joe Rogan Experience. The episode is distinguished by showcasing Zuckerberg's apparent change in political alignment.
As Zuckerberg claimed, members from the Biden administration would contact his team in an effort to allegedly censor any posts on Meta platforms that were critical of the COVID-19 vaccine. Now, Zuckerberg has walked back on the censorship issues that Facebook and Instagram were known for.
However, his decision, which comes following Donald Trump's securing his second term as United States president, has been questioned by Portnoy in particular.
"Zuckerberg is such a spineless jellyfish. Somebody from Biden's team (unnamed) told his team to take stuff down so he rolled over. Trump gets elected and suddenly he's a new man."

This isn't the first time that Zuckerberg has appeared on the JRE podcast, nor is it his first time dealing with the political fallout caused by decisions made in relation to his Meta platforms. However, Trump's upcoming term as the 47th president of the United States has led to a major shift in Zuckerberg's outlook, it seems.
The exact conversation that led to Zuckerberg making the revelation on Rogan's podcast took place early in the episode, with the Facebook founder's words being as follows:
"They pushed us super hard to take down things that honestly were true. I mean, they basically pushed us and said that anything that says that vaccines might have side effects, you basically need to take down. And I was like, 'Well, we're not going to do that. We're clearly not gonna do that.' I mean, that's clearly inarguably true. It was people in the Biden administration."

It is among the most astonishing claims Zuckerberg has ever made on Rogan's podcast, and may serve as an indicator of changing political leanings.
Dana White recently joined the board of directors of Mark Zuckerberg's Meta Platforms conglomerate
UFC CEO and longtime Donald Trump loyalist Dana White was recently elected to Meta Platforms' board of directors in a move that's evidence of the growing relationship between him and Mark Zuckerberg, who is one of Meta's founders.
"I'm excited to kick off the year with some news we've been working on for a while: Dana White, John Elkann, and Charlie Songhurst are joining Meta's board of directors."
Zuckerberg has been a fixture at several UFC events, having rented out the UFC Apex facility at one point, despite White disputing the claim, and even walking out with Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 298.
