Martin Nguyen's experience will be invaluable in his fights going forward.
The former double world champion has accomplished a lot in his career and at one point, was one of the most dangerous competitors on ONE Championship's roster.
After an incredible run with the promotion, Nguyen has struggled for consistency in recent times.
Martin Nguyen knows how important it is for him to produce some wins inside the circle, and one of his greatest advantages over the rest of the featherweight division is his experience.

In his pre-event interview ahead of his return at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video, Nguyen revealed that he doesn’t watch back his old fights but he’s still able to draw lessons from them:
“I don't really need to go back and watch it. Everything is photographic memory in my head, every single moment. Every single adversity that I had to overcome. It's all within. So when I know that I need to dig deep, I know it's there. And I know it's in the back pocket.”
In his upcoming fight on February 24, ‘The Situ-Asian’ will have a huge advantage over his opponent, Kyrgyzstan’s Razhab Shaydullaev. The undefeated prospect is stepping in on late notice to replace Shamil Gasanov, trying to earn a huge win on his ONE Championship debut.
“It's always been all or nothing” - Martin Nguyen ready to do anything to get back to world title contention
Former ONE featherweight and lightweight world champion Martin Nguyen is solely focused on building his way back up to world title contention.
Currently ranked in the top five at featherweight, Nguyen knows the importance of winning each time he steps inside the circle, and he is taking his career one fight at a time.
At ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video, Nguyen will try to rebuild some of his momentum after ending 2022 with a tough loss against Ilya Freymanov.
During the same pre-event interview ahead of February 24, ‘The Situ-Asian’ spoke about how he knows that he must give absolutely everything to get a win:
“It's always been all or nothing, no matter what. But in this case, it's a bit stricter, a bit more serious now. It's always been an all-or-nothing kind of thing now. I want to get myself back into title contention and do whatever it takes.”
With the mindset of going for all or nothing, Martin Nguyen has been dedicating himself to his training camp, making sacrifices by training out in Florida at Kill Cliff FC, one of the top MMA gyms in the world.
Nguyen’s return at ONE Fight Night 7 will take place at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. The entire event will air live and for free for North American viewers via Prime Video.
