Former two-division world champion 'The Situ-Asian' Martin Nguyen is grateful to have 'The Burmese Python' Aung La N Sang in his corner. The two former world titleholders trained alongside one another at the Kill Cliff FC gym in Florida, USA.
At ONE Fight Night 7, Aung La stayed by Nguyen's side throughout his bout hosted in Bangkok, Thailand, which witnessed the Vietnamese-Australian securing a decision win.
Martin Nguyen, who once held ONE featherweight and lightweight world titles, explained how grateful he was to Aung La by his side for this match. While speaking with Nicolas Atkin of South China Morning Post MMA, 'The Situ-Asian' said:
"Whenever I’m sparring, whenever I’m training and there’s not a group or big group training he’s always watching and he’s always giving me tips and giving me shit about dropping my hands so you know it’s a good reminder, a good experience."

According to Martin Nguyen, having the former middleweight and light heavyweight world champion by his side was enormously beneficial.
"It’s obviously the best having him in my corner and you know hopefully he can do the same thing for me as well."

Kill Cliff FC training center in Florida, USA is going to stay busy as 'The Burmese Python' Aung La N Sang will be training for his upcoming bout at the gym. Aung La's next fight is booked for ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video on May 5 where he will face 'King Kong Warrior' Fan Rong.
ONE Fight Night 10 will be ONE Championship's inaugural event in the USA. The marquee fight card will be hosted at the 1stBank Arena in Colorada, USA. ONE has stacked the event with some of the biggest names in combat sports such as 'Mighty Mouse' Demetrious Johnson, Adriano Moraes, Sage Northcutt, Mikey Musumeci, Rodtang 'The Iron Man' Jitmuangnon, and many others. The event will feature three world championships matchups.
Aung La N Sang is currently on a two-fight consecutive TKO win streak in ONE Championship's middleweight division. 'The Burmese Python' will be looking to make it three in a row to position himself for a shot at the ONE middleweight world title.
