Marvin Vettori recently voiced his support for Andrew Tate, who is currently incarcerated in Romania and awaiting trial after being arrested on suspicion of human trafficking and rape. The No.4-ranked middleweight took to Twitter on Sunday to urge authorities to release the controversial former kickboxer, stating:
"Free Top G @Cobratate"
Andrew Tate, his brother Tristan Tate, and two others were arrested in December 2022. They are currently placed in custody for an extended period of up to 180 days, according to Romanian law. The Tate brothers are reportedly facing up to 30 years in prison if convicted of the charges against them. The Romanian government seized their assets until the resolution of the criminal proceedings.
Tate has alleged that his arrest was due to false allegations and that he was the target of 'The Matrix' due to his controversial social media presence. He had previously been banned from social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitch due to his comments. His Twitter account, however, was eventually reinstated, and he remains active online despite his incarceration.

Andrew Tate announces that he plans to donate $100 million to 'protect men'
Despite being incarcerated for over a month, Andrew Tate has remained active on his Twitter account. The controversial social media personality has given updates on his incarceration, accused the Romanian government of targeting him, and advocated for his freedom. In his latest update, the former kickboxer announced his intention to donate $100 million to help prevent men from being falsely accused of crimes, stating:
"I updated my will from prison. I will be donating 100 million to start a charity to protect men from false accusations."

It is unclear why Tate needs to update his will in order to make such a donation. However, it is possible that he doesn't plan to donate the money until he passes away. Six hours later, however, Tate took to Twitter to announce that he had no plans on taking his life:
"I would never kill myself"

Despite his incarceration, Tate remains among the most controversial figures online. While he has plenty of supporters pleading for his freedom, there are just as many that are advocating for him to receive the maximum penalty.
