No.3-ranked middleweight Marvin Vettori had some harsh words for the No.2-ranked welterweight Colby Covington. 'Chaos' recently slammed play-by-play commentator Jon Anik for showing support for Belal Muhammad's claim to the title.
Covington, who lives in the same state as Anik, Florida, sent low-key threats to the commentator and his family. 'The Italian Dream' slammed 'Chaos' in response to the latter attacking Anik, saying that Covington 'sh*t himself in the street'.
Here's what Marvin Vettori said:
"Colby sh*t himself in the street. He's not that kind of guy. But, regardless, I don't even want to talk about him."

Vettori continued thrashing Colby Covington, saying:
"When did you [ever] see Colby showing up for himself? Like [when did you him] being real - in a real altercation? Like, you know, in real life? Come on, bro - 100%, he's all talk."
Marvin Vettori refused to comment on whether Colby Covington deserves a title shot when asked about his thoughts on the matter.
Marvin Vettori had a good showing at UFC 286
The UFC 286 event at the O2 Arena in London saw Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman duking it out in a trilogy bout had some banger fights on the card. The co-main event featured a violent slug-fest between Justin Gaethje and Rafael Fiziev, which saw the American hard-hitter claim a unanimous decision victory.
In the fight preceding the co-main event, Marvin Vettori faced off against the surging Georgian fighter Roman Dolidze. Dolidze is an ADCC trials winner with incredible grappling credentials and solid striking capabilties. He has seven knockout victories and three submission victories, which is surprising considering that he's an ace grappler.
Marvin Vettori has more submission finishes than Dolidze at nine. Regardless of their grappling accolades in MMA, both men stood toe-to-toe to slug it out.
Vettori took some of Dolidze's best shots, and use leg-kicks to negate big shots from 'The Caucasian'. 'The Italian Dream' edged out a unanimous decision victory over the Georgian No.9-ranked middleweight after three grueling rounds at UFC 286.
Vettori is now 2-2 in his last four fights, while losing to former divisional champions Israel Adesanya and Robert Whittaker.
Vettori may face either Robert Whittaker or Adesanya next, depending on how UFC 287 goes. The Italian fighter is 0-2 against 'The Last Stylebender'.
His most likely opponent should be 'Bobby Knuckles' since the Australian fighter's bout with Paulo Costa, slated for UFC 284, fell out as Costa pulled out of the bout due to contract disputes.
