"Massive fan, massive fan. That’s my boy. I love what he’s done, I’ve been a massive fan of his way before he got the double belts and so on, and so forth. He’s an exceptional fighter."

Page added:

"I just love his heart, his hard work. I love what he’s achieved. You only gotta look at his Instagram and see how much work he’s putting in, non-stop. He more than wanted this and he’s getting everything that he deserves."

Haggerty started his ONE Championship career at 135 pounds and became the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion when he beat the legendary Sam-A Gaiyanghadao in just his second match.

Despite relinquishing the gold to current holder Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Haggerty moved up to bantamweight where he has the division's Muay Thai and kickboxing world titles.

Haggerty now defends his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title for the second time when he takes on Superlek Kiatmoo9, the ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion, at ONE 168: Denver.

The champion-versus-champion super fight will close ONE 168 on Friday at Ball Arena in Denver.
