UFC welterweight Matt Brown is the latest fighter to rip Joel Ojeda's scorecard in the main event of UFC San Antonio.

The judge has drawn plenty of criticism after awarding the final three rounds to Marlon 'Chito' Vera, declaring him the winner. The other two judges scored the bout in favor of Cory Sandhagen, giving him convincing scores of 49-46 and 50-45.

Speaking on his podcast, The Fighter vs. The Writer, 'The Immortal' claimed that Marlon 'Chito' Vera did nothing to win the fight before adding:

"The right guy won the fight. That's great, but there's only three judges, there's only three scorecards. He was one away from losing that fight. It just speaks to the larger problem whether it's the judges themselves or whether it is the actual scoring system that is a little bit flawed and confusing. It's just a larger problem."

Brown added:

"He gave him three rounds... You cannot justify that. That is absolutely f**king ludicrous. Get the f**k out of here with that. You don't even have to know the criteria to score that fight for Cory... There was no possible way you could have scored it [for 'Chito' Vera]. We've seen some pretty bad ones in the past but that scorecard's got to be one of the top five [worst]."

Although Cory Sandhagen was able to emerge victorious, Joel Ojeda's scorecard speaks to a bigger problem in mixed martial arts, as Brown pointed out. While there may not be a clear solution to the problem, there have been far too many instances of judges making decisions that could have lasting effects on a fighter's career.

Joel Ojeda's scorecard: Gilbert Burns calls on FBI to investigate judge

Gilbert Burns may have had the strongest reaction to Joel Ojeda's scorecard in the main event of UFC San Antonio. Speaking to TMZ Sports, the No.5-ranked welterweight called for the FBI to get involved, stating:

"I think those judges got to be investigated... We need the FBI on these judges because those judges may be working with the betting company. Maybe getting a third person to bet. I think those guys are doing something crazy and I just think it's not real. I think those guys are being dirty and maybe trying to get money out of this."

Burns added that while he was rooting for Marlon Vera to win, it was evident that the bantamweight contender did not win the bout. He noted that what bothers him the most is that there are no repercussions for bad scorecards as it seemingly happens at every event.

It is unclear if Joel Ojeda will face any punishment for his scoring blunder.
