Matt Brown believes Conor McGregor can "salvage" his reputation following the Nikita Hand case verdict.
In late November, McGregor was found liable for alleged assault in a civil lawsuit brought on by Hand. The High Court jury awarded Hand over $250,000, adding to the Irishman's dilemma.
The fallout of McGregor's latest legal battle has led to backlash from people worldwide, including several businesses separating themselves from him.
Retired UFC fighter Matt Brown recently discussed how McGregor could salvage his reputation on 'Fighter vs. The Writer.' Brown had this to say about how 'The Notorious' can bounce back and restore some of his legacy. He said:

"Conor is going to be in a sh*t storm here... I don't think this is unsalvageable, but he has to be the one to salvage it. No one's going to be the one to save him in this situation. The UFC can't save him. He has to do the right things. Get the f*ck out of the clubs. Put down the straws and get back in the gym."
Conor McGregor releases statement following court case verdict
Conor McGregor maintained his innocence despite the High Court verdict. The former simultaneous two-division UFC champion also revealed his plans to appeal the result. McGregor had this to say on Twitter as an official statement. He wrote:
"People want to hear from me, I needed time. I know I made mistakes. Six years ago, I should have never responded to her outreaches. I should have shut the party down. I should never have stepped out on the woman I love the most in the world. That’s all on me... I am beyond grateful to my family, friends and supporters all over the world who have stayed by my side. That’s it. No more. Getting back to the gym- the fight game awaits!"
Conor McGregor hasn't fought in the UFC since a doctor's stoppage loss against Dustin Poirier in July 2021. 'The Notorious' pulled out of his scheduled June return because of a broken toe and plans to fight again in 2025. However, it remains unclear who his next opponent shall be.
