Swiss lightweight MMA sensation Maurice Abevi feels like he's slowly coming into his own in ONE Championship.
After a rocky start in his debut in the world's largest martial arts organization, the 24-year-old from Zurich has now won two straight -- a first-round technical knockout over Blaker Cooper and a three-round unanimous decision win against 'The Warrior' Zhang Lipeng.
But despite his improvements, Abevi is still not satisfied. He was even hypercritical of his latest performance against Zhang, where he says he just wasn't feeling like himself.

He told ONE Championship in a recent interview:
"I feel like I got really sharp before the last fight, but in the fight itself, I feel like I couldn’t really show everything I had, so that’s why I’m really motivated to bring this next performance to the Circle."
That said, Abevi wants to showcase his best self when he returns to the Circle in a couple of weeks.
The Tiger Muay Thai representative will join the world's best martial artists at the stacked ONE 168: Denver card, where he will put his complete arsenal on display for a raucous American crowd.
