Max Holloway recently outlined some of the goals he would still like to accomplish in the UFC and noted that he has his sights set on making history.

'Blessed' is riding high following his incredible knockout win over Justin Gaethje at UFC 300, which saw him win the 'BMF' title as well as $600,000 in post-fight bonuses. He has accomplished a great deal in the promotion as he has already been both an interim and undisputed UFC featherweight champion and is now the 'BMF' champion.

On X, Home of Fight uploaded a clip from Holloway's appearance on the JRE MMA Show in which he addressed what his plans are for his upcoming fights. The 'BMF' title holder mentioned that he would like to regain the featherweight championship and then set the stage for a massive winner take all fight at 155-pounds. He said:

"In a perfect world to me, would be to fight Ilia [Topuria for the featherweight title], get my hand raised, and whoever's the next guy up at [1]55, fight them. Try to go for double champ status...or even three belts. Do [featherweight, the 'BMF', and then put the 'BMF' and the [lightweight title] against whoever at [1]55, and that'd be surreal. I think that'd be crazy."

Can Max Holloway earn a UFC lightweight title shot?

Max Holloway's goal of winning three UFC championships is a very realistic one, especially considering his status in both the featherweight and lightweight divisions.

'Blessed's recent win over No.3 ranked lightweight Justin Gaethje resulted in him being inserted into the lightweight rankings at No.9. The win also all but confirms him as the number-one contender for Ilia Topuria's featherweight championship should he return to 145-pounds.

Should Holloway become a two-time featherweight champion, he could have more leverage in securing a lightweight title shot. He could also put his 'BMF' title at stake, which could be more enticing for whomever the lightweight champion may be as well as the promotion.
