Max Holloway and Alex Pereira are two of the most popular fighters in the UFC's roster. But it seems that the Hawaiian is himself a fan of Pereira following his recent reaction to the Brazilian's viral video of him dancing with K-Pop group, tripleS.

Pereira was recently in South Korea for what appeared to be both business and pleasure, according to his social media. Pereira's stoic persona, and overall lack of English-speaking skills have created a unique brand of adoration from combat sports fans.

The Brazilian's usually terrifying demeanour has made his recent video dancing alongside members of tripleS even more hilarious than it would have otherwise been.

Footage of 'Poatan' dancing was uploaded to X by @ChampRDS, who wrote:

It appears that both fighters have an affinity for East Asia, with Holloway's love for Japan well-documented on his YouTube channel and social media accounts.

Max Holloway looks to model his comeback on Alex Pereira's light heavyweight resurgence

Max Holloway was knocked out for the first time in his MMA career when he faced Ilia Topuria at UFC 308.

'El Matador' successfully defended his featherweight title, and delivered on his promise to be the first man to solve the previously-uncrackable chin of the Hawaiian.

Following his defeat, 'Blessed' announced that he would be moving to lightweight for the foreseeable future.

During a recent video uploaded to Holloway's Kick streaming account, he discussed his path forward. The BMF title holder stated that he wanted to replicate Alex Pereira's success after being knocked out by Israel Adesanya at UFC 287.

'Poatan' then moved to from middleweight to light heavyweight, and has defended the 205-pound belt three times since ufc-295" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" data-is-sponsored="false">winning it in November 2023.

A snippet of Holloway discussing his fighting future was uploaded to X by @ChampRDS, where he said:

"We saw Alex Pereira get finished, right? Next fight he fought for a number one contender spot, then fought for the title. He's on a title-run... Let's mimick it. I get inspiration in that."
