Conor McGregor recently dropped a three-word reaction in order to generate hype for his upcoming exhibition boxing match against Logan Paul in India.

Following rumors that the UFC was working to book McGregor's highly anticipated return against Ilia Topuria, the Irishman took to social media to set the record straight. According to 'The Notorious', any rumors regarding him vs. Topuria are false and he is instead focused on his upcoming bout against 'The Maverick' next year. He tweeted:

"The rumors of a bout with Topuria are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon."

Conor McGregor also confirmed that their exhibition bout is being backed by the Ambani family, who is headed by Mukesh Ambani. The 67-year-old is the richest person in Asia and, according to Forbes, is the 9th richest person in the world.

Despite the news seemingly coming out of nowhere, it isn't a suprise that McGregor is involved. India has been trying to break into the combat sports market for some time and the UFC is also rumored to be planning on hosting an event in the country in the near future.

While nothing has been confirmed about the fight, including a date or time, the Irishman is keen on generating as much interest as possible. Recently, he dropped a three-word reaction to the news that referenced Rocky Balboa's infamous rival Ivan Drago. He tweeted:

"Drago vs Blago"

Ex-UFC referee casts doubts over Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul bout

Former UFC referee 'Big' John McCarthy doesn't believe Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul will happen, despite the Irishman announcing the fight.

According to McCarthy, however, despite the announcement from McGregor, it's entirely up to the UFC if the fight will happen. Speaking in a recent episode of his Weighing In podcast, the former referee said:

"You gotta have Dana White come to the table with this because, Conor is under contract under UFC. He ain't doing d**k if the UFC says no. UFC has to agree and allow him to go and box Logan Paul."
